Brown is the new Black...

Or I guess I should say “Chestnut” since it is Weeks Dye Works Chestnut that I stitched with for two hours last night. But I made it to the halfway point (I think) on the brown...I mean, chestnut background last night, so it is getting there.

Tonight Simple Gifts-Love is on deck, and it will be another “one color” kind of night. So Sister Scarlet (Belle Soie) and I will be happily stitching while watching Idol and Lost tonight. :) I tend to do more “watching” than “stitching” on Wednesday nights.

I ordered this yesterday after seeing Katrina's WIP.

I love Needleprint designs. I have managed to start a couple, but I haven't finished any yet. I don't think this one is OOP yet, but Theresa at Shakespeare's Peddler had a few left, I think, if anyone is interested. :)

Happy Stitching,

Kellie

  1. I love the BOAF design. I stitched it years only using DMC at the time. I felt it was quite a challenge with all the colour changes - you had to pay attention!

    It's looking great Kellie!

  4. It's gorgeous! I saw the chart on Shakespeare's Peddler and thought about getting it, but decided to avoid starting another large project (for now). I love it that she has those daily orphan things. It will be beautiful stitched up.

  5. Good job with the Chestnut! It's sometimes hard to stick with one color for two hours. Way to go! Keep up the great work! :)
