Kindness and Simple Gifts Update

Hi all,

I think I am going to make the switch from Wordpress to blogger. If you are just finding this blog, I have several posts on at The Stitchin' Post which I plan to keep there for awhile. I really wish I could export those posts to this blog, but I don't know how or if that is even possible. Blogger seems to be a little more user friendly and seems to have more variety in gadgets, etc. Also, it seems almost all of the stitching blogs that I read are on Blogger. So here I am, hoping to keep my readers and and attract new readers as well. :) If you are finding my blog for the first time, welcome--I hope you will come back. If you are coming here from the Wordpress blog, I hope you will continue to visit me. :)

I am still working through my first week of my rotation and enjoying it immensely. On Tuesday, I worked on Kindness Sampler by Birds of a Feather and finished a tiny bit more of the brown background. I am stitching this on 28 ct. Lambswool with the recommended threads.

Last night, I stitched a little in between watching American Idol and Lost (both of which were fantastic!), I worked on Praiseworthy Stitches' Simple Gifts-Love. I am stitching this on 40 ct. light sand linen with Belle Soie Sister Scarlet and Noir.

Tonight's WIP is Shimmering Mermaid. I was off from work today and would normally have picked up a needle long before now, but I have been playing around with the design of this blog and playing Animal Crossing off and on all day. That game is so addicting. :) As soon as I get the little guy in bed, I plan to stitch until bedtime. :)

Happy Stitching,

Kellie

Your WIPs are gorgeous! I love BOAF & wish they were still designing. Your Kindness Sampler is sooo pretty. Your Simple Gifts is beautiful, too. I love that Sister Scarlet--it looks great on that linen! YGG!

  3. Looks like you are making good progress with your rotations. I stitch by rotating projects, too, but I don't have a set time or anything...just whatever strikes my fancy.

I followed you! Thanks for letting us know so we can keep an eye on your stitching. :)
