Midnight Watch

Three posts in three days...you can tell I am on fall break. LOL! I think this is a new personal record for me.

I have decided to shelve "Home" for awhile. I am too disgruntled with it to make a decision or to want to work on it. I think it is Siobhan who refers to the "WIP dungeon." I like that...that is where Home is going for now.

I got happy mail today...
I had ordered Blackbird Designs Midnight Watch and fabric a couple of days ago from Needlecraft-Corner. Their shipping is so fast! I loved this design when I first saw it. I am now happily stitching on this piece this afternoon and trying to catch up online with the show Mercy. A terrific afternoon. If my husband would call and insist on takeout for supper, it would be perfect. LOL!

Here's our own little Midnight. Actually she belongs to the neighbors behind us, but she adopted us long ago and stays at our house, sleeps in our garage, and eats our cat food. :) And we love her, so all is well.

Have a great afternoon!
Kellie

  1. Midnight Watch is so cool!!!!!! Are you getting their new Christmas book too? That is definitely on my want list.

Love your little kitty. We have a black cat too!

Happy stitching and I hope take out appears at your table tonight!

  2. Now is your kitty also named "Midnight", or is it just that she's the Midnight of your house, watching over you?

    Great New choice start, btw!

  3. Hi Kellie,

Just catching up on your posts, your stash and your stitching! Geez that's frustrating about discovering things being off kilter way after you've stitched a bunch. Putting it aside was a smart idea. I can't really tell where the problem is but I'm guessing your house outline won't match up. Maybe extending the roof line may help?

Midnight Watch looks like a wonderful stitch, but then, BBD ones usually are! Enjoy your stitching time!

  4. Midnight reminds of my of a cat I used to have but I called him Bosco. Midnight Watch is such a cool pattern. I'll be watching for your progress (and may even break down and order the chart).

  6. I'm catching up on posts here... I think I've been reading and not commenting. Gulp. Good for you for putting the WIP that was driving you crazy aside. Stitching is supposed to be fun!

Midnight Watch is so nice, I didn't order it but will probably cave and get it. I'd love to have it for next year's autumnal display, which I am determined to have. Your borrowed Midnight is too cute! :)

Fabulous progress on Shores, too, and omg, the stash!!! Wow wow wow. I love all the charts, and those linens--yumm-o! I'm glad you had a good time.
